    2024-01-19  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

SHENZHEN-BASED smartphone maker TECNO Mobile orchestrated a breathtaking display of technology and art through a choreographed show featuring 1,000 luminous drones at the opening of the 34th African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire recently, sznews.com reported.

The awe-inspiring show, entitled “For Young, For Passion,” created captivating images and demonstrated TECNO’s prowess and dedication to Africa’s sports industry and technological development.

As the official smartphone sponsor of AFCON, TECNO Mobile has earned recognition as one of the most trusted leading brands on the continent. The company has consistently provided users with high-quality devices and internet services, contributing to an enhanced quality of life for its consumers, according to sznews.com.

In addition to the drone performance, TECNO has hosted a friendly soccer match and initiated the “Dream Soccer Pitch” plan, which aims to renovate 100 community soccer pitches across Africa in five years and improve soccer facilities for children.

Jack Guo, general manager of TECNO Mobile, a subsidiary of Transsion, expressed his delight regarding the plan and expressed hope for increased participation from various partners to benefit African communities.
