Residents welcome Spring Festival in Pingshan
    2024-01-22  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Asim Zaman (R) from Pakistan poses for a photo at Pingshan District Central Park on Saturday to welcome the upcoming Spring Festival, just three weeks away. Hosted by Maluan Subdistrict, the event sought to foster friendship and cultural exchange between local and expat communities. The sight of expats in traditional Chinese attire, such as hanfu and horse-face skirts, drew crowds to take photos capturing the enduring allure of China’s rich heritage. Through participating in riddle games, writing Spring Festival couplets and blessings, and crafting bamboo gifts to mark the imminent Year of the Dragon, the residents reveled in a delightful afternoon.     Courtesy of the event organizer
