    2024-02-02  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A resident hangs red lanterns to greet the upcoming Spring Festival at Gankeng Hakka Town, Longgang District in eastern Shenzhen, yesterday. Gankeng used to be a village where Hakka people lived more than 350 years ago. With many old Hakka buildings still preserved, Gankeng is regarded as one of the 10 historical Hakka villages in Shenzhen. The town has become a tourist attraction for visitors to experience Hakka culture and folk customs as well as taste various delicacies.China News Service
