SHENZHEN Meteorological Observatory has forecasted a slight reduction in the impact of the recent humid weather, known as “huinantian” in Chinese, starting from Saturday, but the phenomenon will continue for a week.

This weather phenomenon, characterized by increased temperatures and moisture, is a common occurrence during late winter and early spring in South China.

In the coming week, Shenzhen will continue to experience warm, humid, rainy, and foggy weather, meteorological experts said.

From Saturday to Tuesday, the city can expect more cloud cover with light or scattered rain, accompanied by slight temperature fluctuations.

From Wednesday to the early period of the Spring Festival holiday, the weather will shift to colder conditions due to the influence of cold air from the north, accompanied by rainfall, according to the latest weather forecast. (Wang Jingli)
