Visitors enjoy a dragon lantern in the Honey Park in Futian District on Thursday. A large lantern show themed on traditional Chinese New Year culture is taking place at the park to celebrate the Lantern Festival, which falls on Saturday this year. Across the city, celebratory events such as lantern shows, riddle-solving activities, hanfu parades, folk games, and markets will be held in cultural venues, communities, shopping centers, and street blocks. The Lantern Festival marks the end of celebrations for the Chinese New Year.
