THE Shenzhen Futian Fashion Event was held at Palazzo Reale in Milan, Italy on Friday during the Fall/Winter 2024/2025 Milan Fashion Week, showcasing China’s huge fashion market and creative prowess to the global audience, Shenzhen Special Zone Daily reported.

Three Shenzhen fashion brands — KAVON, NEXY.CO, and CHLOSIO — held a joint fashion event during the fashion week.

NEXY.CO paid tribute to the resilience and elegance of China’s urban elite women, drawing parallels with the legendary Chinese heroine, Mulan. Mulan’s embodiment of wisdom and beauty, as she bravely assumed a male guise to join the army in her father’s stead, served as a poignant source of inspiration.

Mary Ho, founder of KAVON and a top-ranked Chinese fashion designer, chose to highlight the cultural heritage, self-confidence, and wisdom of both ancient and modern Chinese women.

CHLOSIO presented the image of women in the new era who are more confident and independent, while emphasizing the refined, introspective, and confident traits of Chinese women.

Furthermore, Shenzhen brand ANNAKIKI was also slated to participate in the fashion week schedule.

The fashion industry in Shenzhen, represented by “Futian brands,” has embarked on a path of innovative development with high quality, according to the Daily report.

With support from the Futian District Government, the Shenzhen Futian Fashion Event was jointly organized by the International Fashion Strategic Committee and Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, or the Italian national chamber of fashion.
