Average salary

IN the first week following the Spring Festival, the average monthly recruitment salary across 38 key cities in China stood at 10,361 yuan (US$1,439), marking a 3% increase from the same period last year, as per the China Enterprise Recruitment Salary Report issued by Zhaopin.com. Notably, Shenzhen recorded a figure of 12,589 yuan.

A closer look at individual cities reveals that, during the first week after the holiday, Shanghai led the country with a monthly recruitment salary of 13,261 yuan, closely trailed by Beijing at 13,146 yuan, Shenzhen at 12,589 yuan, and Hangzhou at 11,757 yuan. These four major cities witnessed an uptick in recruitment salaries compared to the same period following the 2023 Spring Festival.

Longgang art center

THE Longgang International Art Center project has recently made new progress. The completion of the roof structure for the project’s art exhibition and experience incubation center marks another step towards its public unveiling.

The center, located in Bantian Subdistrict, covers a total area of approximately 43,000 square meters and boasts a total construction area of around 110,000 square meters. It is comprised of various facilities including an international performing arts center, an art exhibition and experience incubation center, and a technology and art education center.

Parking spaces

SHENZHEN plans to address the demand for short-term parking by adding almost 16,000 roadside parking spots, with 1,598 designated for Dapeng New Area, sznews.com reported.

The additional roadside parking spaces in Dapeng will be introduced along 10 roads in Kuichong and Dapeng subdistricts. The newly designated spaces aim to serve a variety of locales including residential, commercial, and industrial areas, as well as parks and schools.

English journal

AN English academic journal dedicated to expediting the dissemination of groundbreaking scientific discoveries and innovative technological applications across all energy-related disciplines was launched in Shenzhen on Monday.

Titled “The Innovation Energy” (ISSN 3006-418X; Website: www.the-innovation.org/energy), the journal serves as a sister publication to the Cell Press journal “The Innovation,” with operations based in Shenzhen.

The primary objective of the journal is to bridge the gap between scientific research, technological advancements, and practical applications in the field of energy. It boasts a broad scope, covering various facets of energy-related topics such as generation, storage, distribution, management, and utilization, along with their societal implications. The inaugural issue features a total of 15 academic papers, including one review, three research articles, and commentary pieces.
