A TOTAL of 29 enterprises from Shenzhen have made it onto the list of the eighth batch of national-level champions in individual manufacturing fields, sources from the Shenzhen Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau said recently.

The “manufacturing champions” are distinguished by their long-standing focus on specific niche product markets in the manufacturing sector, coupled with internationally leading production technology or processes. Additionally, their single product’s market share ranks among the top three globally.

The list includes a total of 62 enterprises in Guangdong Province, with the highest number of companies based in Shenzhen, followed by Dongguan with 10, and Guangzhou with seven.
