Minzhi Sports Park opens
    2024-03-11  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

COVERING an area of 37,000 square meters, the new Minzhi Sports Park, also called Mengqing Park, greeted its first visitors this morning.

Emblematic of the sponge city concept, the park boasts an array of amenities, including a standard 11v11 soccer field, three full-size basketball courts, two half courts, a 600-meter walking track, and a 2,400-square-meter fitness and children’s recreational area equipped with various facilities.

As the park is adorned with blooming flowers in spring, it becomes an idyllic setting for reveling in flamboyant blossoms.

The soccer field remains closed to the public at the moment, while the basketball courts are available for use at no cost until March 17. The park is free of admission, but advance booking is necessary for court reservations.

Booking: WeChat account “WenhuaLonghua”

Venue: Intersection of Minzhi Boulevard and Minkang Road, Longhua District (龙华区民治大道和民康路交汇口民治体育公园)

Metro: Line 5 to Minzhi Station (民治站), Exit B
