BYD’s 7 millionth NEV rolls off production line
    2024-03-26  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

BYD rolls its 7 millionth new energy vehicle (NEV), a Denza N7, off the production line in its factory in Jinan, capital of East China’s Shandong Province, yesterday. The Shenzhen-based automaker became the world’s first automaker to roll off its 7 millionth NEV. BYD produced its 1 millionth NEV in May 2021 and rapidly multiplied this figure threefold within 18 months. It then surpassed 5 million units in merely nine additional months. In just seven months from this mark, BYD accelerated to the 7 millionth milestone.      (Story on P3)                  BYD’s official Weibo account
