Tourists take photos of blooming Mucuna birdwoodiana flowers, commonly known as sparrow flowers, at Maluan Mountain Country Park in Pingshan District. This year, the area near Biling Waterfall within the park is adorned with an abundance of these flowers, particularly the white-flowered variety. A national second-level protected species, sparrow flowers flourish in warm and humid climates. The plant is particularly vibrant around the Qingming Festival, with flowers hanging in bundles that resemble dancing sparrows.
