A parent plays chess with her child while waiting for their train at Shenzhen North Station yesterday. Some trains running on the Shenzhen-Hangzhou High-speed Railway were canceled following a powerful earthquake off the eastern coast of Hualien County, Taiwan. At 1:28 p.m., the train services resumed. Ten people had been killed and nearly 1,000 injured in the 7.3-magnitude quake in Taiwan as of 6 p.m. yesterday.    (Story on P3)  Xinhua
