ABOUT 100 works created by Andy Warhol are on display at the “Andy Warhol Art Work Exhibition: Again Till No End” at the China Resources Tower Arts Center Gallery in Nanshan District, providing visitors with an immersive experience into the world of pop art.

The exhibition features a selection of Warhol’s most iconic and revolutionary works, including “Campbell’s Soup Cans,” “Coca-Cola,” “Flowers,” and the “Marilyn Diptych” silkscreen paintings.

Through the organization of four sections, the exhibition eloquently narrates and delves deeply into how the recurring themes in his artistry mirror the collective memory and cultural psyche of a bygone era.

Warhol, known as a pioneer and leader of pop art, transcended artistic boundaries by also venturing into film production, writing, rock composition, and publishing. His works claimed the third spot globally in 2021, with a transaction volume totaling US$348 million, trailing only behind Picasso and Jean-Michel Basquiat.

Notably, in 2022, Warhol’s iconic piece, “Shot Sage Blue Marilyn,” fetched a record-breaking US$195 million at auction, setting a new benchmark for 20th-century art sales.

In addition to Warhol’s masterpieces, the exhibition presents Shenzheners with a rare chance to appreciate the works of Basquiat, renowned for his raw, gestural style infused with graffiti-inspired imagery and expressive text.

Basquiat crossed paths with Warhol in his youth, their bond evolving into a relationship of mentorship and friendship that propelled both artists to higher creative heights. Collaboratively, they produced 160 artworks over the course of two years.
