Bringing together executives and entrepreneurs from multinational corporations, the aim of the event was to foster collaborative innovation in technology and establish an international innovation ecosystem. In Hong Kong, the group visited the Hong Kong stock exchange to gain insight into Hong Kong’s significant role as an international financial center. They then traveled to the Hengqin Free Trade Zone in Zhuhai to explore the zone’s policies supporting international cross-border e-commerce. The group showed a keen interest in Hengqin’s innovative initiatives and business prospects. In Shenzhen, known as “China’s Silicon Valley,” the team visited prominent companies such as Tencent, ZTE, BYD, and DJI, immersing themselves in the city’s dynamic entrepreneurial and innovative atmosphere. Engaging with entities like the Shenzhen Capital Group and the Peking University HSBC Business School, the team gained profound insights into Shenzhen’s development from the perspectives of investment strategies and corporate innovation. Several corporate executives reflected on how the visit shattered their preconceived notions about Shenzhen, leaving them inspired by its innovative ethos and the vibrancy of its technology sector. They said the experience not only broadened their horizons but also provided fresh perspectives for expanding their respective businesses. |
