Chen Siqi vankochensq@163.com SHENZHEN is calling for the subjects of candidate topics for major scientific and technological projects from all enterprises, higher education institutions, and scientific research institutes citywide, according to an announcement released by the Shenzhen Municipal Science, Technology, and Innovation Bureau recently. Proposals should be made before May 21. Eligible programs can each receive subsidies of up to 30 million yuan (US$4.15 million). The topic collection targets 10 specialized fields: semiconductors and integrated circuits, intelligent robots, internet and communication, the low-altitude economy, new drugs and vaccines, health diagnosis and treatment, new materials, optical information, synthetic biology, and sustainable development. The bureau has also specified preferred technologies in different fields. For example, in the field of intelligent robots, it favors technologies such as humanoid control technology and simultaneous expressions on humanoid. In the low-altitude economy sector, it focuses on physical low-altitude drone tech, reliable communication technologies in complicated environments, and technology to detect large-scale flight conflicts during low-altitude flying, among other technologies. The bureau will use the submitted subjects to organize the introduction of major programs for 2024. Enterprises and research institutes will then compete in an open competition. |
