Charity run

THE 2024 Hot Blood Run was launched at the Shenzhen Blood Center in Futian District on Monday afternoon. All 5,000 participation spots for the charity run were snatched up within 20 minutes of the application submission phase opening, according to the organizers.

For the first time, the running event is adopting a model of online and in-person competitions this year. The online competition, which requires participants to finish certain tasks, will be held from tomorrow to Sunday, and the in-person race will officially start June 16.

Family doctor teams

TO date, Shenzhen has established 5,130 family doctor teams — they provided contract services to 6.67 million residents in 2023, an increase of 2.13 million compared to 2022, the city’s public hygiene and heath commission said Sunday, World Family Doctor Day.
