Combination of traditional opera costumes, jewelry art turns heads at 20th ICIF
    2024-05-28  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

LUOHU-BASED jewelry company REIEN JEWELRY showcased a fusion of traditional Chinese opera headdresses and jewelry art at the district’s exhibition area during the 20th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF), highlighting the allure of Chinese culture with unique exhibits.

The exhibition area features four sections, namely “Trendy Toys,” “Fashion Jewelry,” “New Culture and Tourism Integration,” and “Digital Innovation.” Key enterprises from these sectors presented Luohu’s cultural industry and heritage by displaying their standout products.

Among the highlights were REIEN JEWELRY’s collections, such as “Flower of the Nation,” “Classic of Mountains and Seas,” and “Splendid World of Chinese Operas,” which vividly showcased the excellence of Chinese traditional culture through unique jewelry designs. The “Splendid World of Chinese Operas” series, in particular, integrated various traditional opera headdresses from different kinds of traditional Chinese operas, such as Peking, Cantonese, Kun, and Yue operas, into jewelry designs.

These magnificent pieces captured the lively characters of operas by combining opera styling with jewelry art in a way that effectively displays the unique culture of Chinese theater and distinctive Chinese aesthetics.
