SZ rescuers save woman trapped in ruins for 46 hours
    2024-06-21  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A helicopter prepares to airlift medical staff and relief supplies in Pingyuan County, Meizhou City, Guangdong Province, on Thursday. Heavy rainstorms have hit Meizhou and triggered severe flooding recently, which led to landslides and disruptions in traffic, power, and communication services. In a dramatic rescue Tuesday, the Shenzhen Rescue Volunteers Team successfully saved a 61-year-old woman who had been trapped for 46 hours in the debris of a house that collapsed in a landslide in Jiaoling County. She was sent to hospital and in stable condition.    (Story on P5)  China News Service
