A ship from China COSCO Shipping Corp. Ltd. prepares to set sail at Yantian Port recently. COSCO Shipping has officially launched its direct shipping route between China and the West Coast of the United States, marking a significant milestone for maritime logistics in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The maiden voyage ceremony at Yantian Port saw the COSCO Shipping vessel depart with approximately 7,400 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units) of household appliances and e-commerce products on board. The new route includes stops at Yantian, Xiamen, Kaohsiung, and Long Beach, the U.S., with six vessels deployed to ensure reliable service.
