The event’s past two editions attracted over 500 entries from more than 20 countries and regions. This year, all content creators are invited to capture and share the inspiring stories from Belt and Road countries that highlight their efforts to advance ecological civilization and promote green development in short videos. The submission period runs from June to August. Erik Solheim, former deputy secretary-general of the United Nations, said, “It’s all about the great ideas we need to build a better world together and create a low-carbon lifestyle. So please send us your videos and your great creations about green development.” Bojan Lalić, director of the Belt and Road Institute, Belgrade, in Serbia, marveled at the tremendous achievements of the Belt and Road Initiative. “We are now heading towards the second decade of the Belt and Road Initiative. The progress was extraordinary, especially in terms of the remarkable achievements made in infrastructure. It represents a critical moment for green transformation. We are about to build the ‘Belt and Road’ into a ‘Green Road.’ We hope you can share your short videos with us,” Lalić said. |
