
Non-Chinese residents of Hong Kong are seen lining up at the office of China Travel Service (Holdings) Hong Kong Ltd. yesterday to apply for a special travel permit for the Chinese mainland. Effective from yesterday, permanent residents of Hong Kong and Macao who intend to travel to the mainland for short-term purposes — including investment, visiting relatives, tourism, business, seminars, and exchanges — can now apply for a permit that is valid for visits of up to 90 days at a time.China News Service |
