THE Apple Vision Pro was officially launched on the Chinese mainland June 28 at Apple Store locations. Shenzhen residents can now visit the Apple Store online to book a one-on-one demonstration and experience the innovative Apple Vision Pro firsthand.

Users can now enjoy Apple Immersive Video through the Migu Video and Tencent Video apps on Apple Vision Pro. This new narrative form, created specifically for Apple Vision Pro, uses 180-degree 8K 3D video and spatial audio to provide an immersive experience. Apple Vision Pro users can watch a variety of immersive films and series, including action-adventure, music, animation, and documentaries.

Before the experience begins, Apple Vision Pro needs to be paired with an iPhone for setup. The staff will initially use the iPhone to scan the user’s face to optimize the light seal and adjust the headband size accordingly. Users who wear glasses will need to place their frames in a store machine to verify their prescription. Following this, the staff will insert Zeiss optical inserts into the Apple Vision Pro to ensure precise visual clarity and accurate eye tracking.

One immersive video, “Encounter Dinosaurs,” takes viewers into the lives of dinosaurs, allowing them to view and interact with these ancient creatures. At the beginning, a very realistic butterfly appears, which users can interact with.

Another demo video is “Wildlife: Rhino,” through which viewers visit the world’s largest rhino sanctuary, where a former sheriff is dedicated to rescuing, nurturing, and rewilding these gentle giants.

Apple Vision Pro runs on visionOS, an innovative operating system featuring an intuitive spatial user interface and a magical input system that allows users to navigate with their eyes, hands, and voice.

Users interact with apps by simply looking at them and tapping their fingers together. They can also dictate text using voice commands, type using the virtual keyboard, and instruct Siri to open and close apps, play media, answer questions, and perform other tasks.
