UNITED Aircraft, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) manufacturer based in Shenzhen, recently sold 100 industrial-level UAVs to French buyers at the Farnborough International Airshow in the U.K. The event, held biennially, serves as a gathering for the aerospace, aviation, and defense industries at the Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Center. This year, the show took place from Monday to Friday, drawing in top innovators from the aviation sector and attracting participation from over 1,000 companies representing 44 countries and regions. At the exhibition, United Aircraft highlighted its flagship products, such as the TD550 Coaxial Unmanned Helicopter and the Q20 four-winged heavy lift drone, showcasing their application in logistics and unmanned inspection. The sale of 100 Q20 drones and corresponding ground equipment marked the first major order secured by a Chinese drone company at the Farnborough airshow, indicating growing acceptance from European clientele. The versatile and dependable Q20 drones find utility in tasks like fire inspection, agriculture, and environmental protection. Another standout product at United Aircraft’s booth was the R6000 unmanned helicopter, capable of transporting passengers over a 4,000-kilometer cruise distance, with promises to revolutionize logistics and transportation, as stated by the company. In a recent demonstration, a fleet of 20 Q20 drones ascended 1,200 meters to transport fresh plums, a local specialty, from an orchard at the mountain’s base to a mountaintop helicopter port. The company’s fleet accommodates payloads ranging from 10 kilograms to 200 kilograms based on client requirements. With over a decade of experience, United Aircraft is engaged in researching, developing, and manufacturing UAV products, alongside providing software solutions to a diverse range of customers.
