Shenzhen tennis star makes history at Paris Olympics

China’s Wang Xinyu (R) and Zhang Zhizhen during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games’ mixed doubles semifinals tennis match in Paris on Thursday. Wang, from Shenzhen, and Zhang made history after coming from behind to beat Demi Schuurs and Wesley Koolhof of the Netherlands to reach the final.  Wang, 22 years old, became Shenzhen’s first Grand Slam champion last year when she teamed up with Hsieh Su-wei from Taiwan to win the women’s doubles title at the French Open.   SD-Agencies
