THE “Dehors” exhibition at Tengjun Science and Technology Innovation Park in Bao’an District showcases artworks by Alejandro Martin Parisi and Chen Hengchao, celebrating the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France.

Spanning 1,310 square meters, the exhibition presents over 100 pieces by both artists, creating a serene sanctuary where visitors can escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Parisi, instructed by painter Ana Tarsia for six years, creates installations from discarded chairs and doors found on streets. His works often feature a blend of splicing, spray painting, and text, seamlessly weaving ordinary elements into imaginative spaces. Parisi has held exhibitions in Paris, Barbizon, Selles sur Cher, Brussels, Shanghai and Foshan.

Chen, a Shenzhen-based professional painter and member of the Shenzhen Artists Association, started her formal art training at the age of 16. At 21, she began creating decorative paintings at home and abroad. After attending several masterclasses, Chen continues to push boundaries and innovate in her art.

Chen is good at using mixed materials, breaking boundaries of painting in her artistic creations. The emotional expression in her works is open and diverse, and her series of works with the theme of “cat” is endowed with emotion and soul, resonating deeply with viewers.
