THE summit of Lianhua Hill has become more accessible thanks to the introduction of a new sightseeing shuttle that began trial operations Monday, Shenzhen Economic Daily reported. The route connects the park’s southeast gate with the mountaintop plaza, providing a convenient way for visitors to enjoy the park’s natural beauty. Lianhua Hill Park, a major recreational area in the heart of Shenzhen, is known for its rich natural resources, including forests, lakes, and greenways. The park is a popular spot for both residents and tourists, offering a serene escape within the bustling city. The new sightseeing line, launched by the city’s urban management and tourism authorities, as well as the Shenzhen Bus Group, is designed to enhance the visitor experience. The line runs in a clockwise direction, stopping at key attractions within the park. The uphill route begins at the southeast gate, passes Kite Square and Lianhua Lake, and ends at the mountaintop plaza. The downhill route returns from the plaza via the Flower Maze community. This development is expected to improve the overall experience for park visitors by saving time and providing easier access to the park’s attractions. The route also connects with key cultural sites in the city, such as the Guan Shanyue Art Museum and the Shenzhen Concert Hall. The sightseeing line uses environmentally friendly electric vehicles, which aligns with Shenzhen’s commitment to sustainability. Tickets can be purchased through the “深巴出行” (Shenzhen Bus Travel) miniprogram, with options for single-use tickets and day passes. (SD News) |
