Intl. entrepreneurship competition’s overseas contests start in Zurich
    2024-10-16  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

SIX projects outperformed other competitors during the Zurich division of the 8th China (Shenzhen) Innovation & Entrepreneurship International Competition and secured places in the competition finals, which will be held in Shenzhen next month.

Held in Zurich, Switzerland, on Thursday local time, this contest also marked the start of regional contests in 13 cities across the world that will run until early November, according to the city’s human resources and social security bureau, one of its organizers.

The Zurich contest attracted 278 projects with a total of 344 participants. After the preliminary round, 21 projects from seven major industries — new-generation electronic information, digital fashion, high-end equipment manufacturing, green and low carbon, new materials, biomedicine and health, and the marine economy — advanced to the division finals.

The competition’s 8th edition has established 13 regional contests in 12 countries — Switzerland, Spain, Australia, the Netherlands, Italy, Sweden, France, Canada, the U.K., Germany, Japan, and the U.S.   (Han Ximin)
