
An aerial view of the Shenzhen Sports Center’s stadium in Futian District on Thursday, which is now ready for use. With a seating capacity of 15,000, the stadium is poised to host the Shenzhen basketball team’s first home game of the 2024-2025 China Men’s Professional Basketball League regular season Friday evening. Renovation of the Shenzhen Sports Center, a city landmark built in 1985, began in 2020. Covering an area of 435,400 square meters, the center features a gymnasium, a stadium, a swimming and diving complex, a badminton and tennis center, and other public facilities.
