    2024-10-29  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

An aerial view of the Dongchong Greenway, part of Shenzhen’s Kunpeng Trail, in Dapeng New Area. During the 2024 China Outdoor Sports Industry Conference, held Saturday in Yunnan Province and hosted by the All-China Sports Federation, the China Mountaineering Association announced that Shenzhen’s 200-kilometer-long Kunpeng Trail had been selected as one of China’s Top 10 Destinations for Mountaineering and Outdoor Sports. The Kunpeng Trail, which is the main artery of Shenzhen’s hiking trails, begins at Phoenix Mountain in the west and extends to Qiniang Mountain in the east. With 20 sections, the trail connects more than 10 major peaks, 17 country parks, eight large reservoirs, 10 historical and cultural sites, and over 30 urban viewing points.     File photo
