    2024-11-05  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

NEARLY 100 participants from Longhua gathered at Minzhi Primary School to kick off the “Love in Minzhi: Inclusion and Sharing” 10th Disability Culture and Sports Festival on Nov. 2.

The day featured exciting events like wheelchair relays, basketball shooting, and table tennis, drawing community members together to celebrate friendship and achievement.

This year’s festival will showcase 18 events tailored to adult and family categories, giving each participant a chance to shine. Wheelchair relays and outdoor basketball emphasized teamwork, while puzzles, checkers, and billiards tested individual skills and strategy. Creative events such as puzzle and painting games added a splash of fun and imagination, creating a welcoming space for people of all abilities.

Running from Nov. 2 to Nov. 7 across two main venues — Minshun Primary School and the Minzhi Rehabilitation Center — this six-day festival strengthen bonds, deepen understanding, and celebrate shared joy, making a lasting impact on all involved.

Follow Shenzhen Daily reporter Liu Xudong to experience the exciting vibe on the festival’s opening day.  (SD News)
