THE M+ Museum, Hong Kong’s hub for contemporary visual culture, celebrated its third anniversary Tuesday. With over 7.2 million visitors to date, M+ ranks among the top 20 most-visited museums globally and second in Asia — a testament to its cultural impact and diverse exhibitions. The museum celebrated the anniversary with a series of events and exhibitions. On Nov. 10, visitors enjoyed free general admission. Among the standout displays, “A.A. Murakami: Floating World” creates an immersive, dreamlike experience that captivates the senses. Other special exhibitions include “Guo Pei: Fashioning Imagination,” “I.M. Pei: Life is Architecture,” “Making It Matter,” and “Shanshui: Echoes and Signals.” These images, captured by Shenzhen Daily reporter Lin Jianping, offer a glimpse into M+’s vibrant festivities. To commemorate the occasion, M+ launched limited-edition merchandise inspired by its visual identity, available at a 30% discount through Nov. 17. (Cynthia Song) |
