A NEW cold front is set to bring a weekend chill to Shenzhen, with temperatures expected to drop by 4 degrees Celsius, the local meteorological observatory said yesterday.

Today and tomorrow will see stable weather with clear skies, dry conditions, and light fog in the mornings and evenings. Highs are forecast to reach 26 degrees Celsius, with significant daytime temperature variations.

By the weekend, northerly winds will bring predominantly cloudy skies with occasional clear spells and a 4-degree Celsius drop in temperatures. Sunday’s forecast predicts a low of 13 degrees Celsius and a high of 21 degrees Celsius.

Affected by the cold snap, Guangdong Province is expected to see a drop of 3 to 5 degrees Celsius across the region from Friday night.
