Airport express

THE Guangming line of the Shenzhen Airport Express now features upgraded buses designed for passenger comfort, equipped with USB charging ports, cup holders, and airline-style seating with headrests, armrests, and ample legroom.

The service connects Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport with the Guangming City Terminal in Guangming District.

Buses run every half hour from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. and hourly from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m for the trip from Guangming to the airport. For the return journey from the airport, buses depart hourly from 9 a.m. to midnight and every half hour from midnight to 2 a.m., with the final bus leaving at 4 a.m.

Fashion contest

THE 14th “Dalang Cup” China Women’s Wear Design Competition, held in Dalang Fashion Town, Longhua District, has extended an invitation to designers across the globe.

With a focus on technological innovation, cultural creation, and sustainable development, this competition emphasizes the incorporation of traditional Chinese elements and fosters the growth of Chinese original design.

As a premier national industry hub, Dalang Fashion Town hosts the headquarters of many renowned Chinese garment companies, positioning it as a significant garment industry cluster within Shenzhen.

Gankeng celebrations

GANKENG Ancient Town, nestled in Longgang District, is gearing up to celebrate the Chinese New Year with a diverse lineup of festive activities.

Once a small ancient village inhabited by the Hakka people 300 years ago, the town is hosting a variety of events that embrace Hakka New Year traditions. These will include the Fantasy Night, the New Year Fun Parent-Child Camp, and the Hakka Temple Fair.

Warm, dry weather

THE New Year’s Day, which falls on tomorrow, will be characterized by dry and warm conditions, with a high of 22 degrees Celsius, according to the Shenzhen Meteorological Observatory.

From tmorrow through Thursday, there will be a gradual increase in cloud cover. Starting from Friday and continuing through Sunday, a series of weak cold fronts will result in more pronounced daily temperature fluctuations.
