Yang Wei, 70, and his 64-year-old wife, Zheng Hong, take a selfie at Shekou Cruise Homeport before setting out on a global voyage on their yacht yesterday. The Shenzhen couple plans to visit 44 coastal cities among Shenzhen’s over 90 sister cities. During their journey, they will visit Phnom Penh and Bangkok, then proceed to Madagascar and Tanzania, enter the Mediterranean, and cross the Atlantic to reach the Caribbean. They will then pass through the Panama Canal into the South Pacific, continue to Australia, and finally visit South Korea and Japan before returning to Shenzhen.  Courtesy of the interviewees
