SHENZHEN’S exhibition industry is off to a strong start in the Year of the Snake, with two large-scale international professional fairs scheduled to open at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center in Bao’an District in the coming week. The 24th China International Allfood Expo will kick off Feb. 23. As this year’s first large-scale, comprehensive international exhibition of China’s food industry, Allfood has attracted approximately 1,800 exhibitors from around the world and is expected to draw 180,000 professional buyers. The exhibition will showcase the latest food products and technologies and host multiple forums and events. It will be organized into five areas. The snack food pavilion focuses on confectioneries, chocolates, baked goods, and nuts. The imported food hall gathers specialty food exhibitors from over 50 countries. The frozen food pavilion covers categories such as ice cream, frozen prepared foods, and ready-to-eat meals. The food machinery pavilion concentrates on smart production equipment, environmentally friendly packaging solutions, and cold-chain logistics technology. The catering supply chain pavilion presents comprehensive solutions for the entire industry chain, from raw materials to finished products. On Feb. 28, the 2025 Shenzhen International Smart Mobility, Automotive Modification, and Automotive Service Industry Ecological Expo, also known as AutoEcosystems, will open. Organizers anticipate the attendance of 300,000 domestic professional buyers and over 10,000 overseas professional visitors. With an area of over 420,000 sqm, AutoEcosystems will be the largest, most comprehensive automotive ecosystem event in Asia. This year, AutoEcosystems will feature vehicle launches, innovative developments in auto technology, auto parts, and vehicle modifications, and passenger and commercial vehicles. It will also provide attendees with a panoramic view of tech evolution, product innovation, and development trends in the global automotive industry chain. The passenger vehicle exhibition area has gathered over 120 new energy and traditional vehicle brands that will collectively unveil more than 1,000 new car models. Around 5,600 auto firms will showcase new industrial ecosystems. Companies such as CATL and Bosch will present cutting-edge technologies and products, including batteries, charging piles, battery swapping equipment, and AI-assisted driving solutions. AutoEcosystems will work with over 10 e-commerce and cross-border e-commerce platforms, including Amazon, eBay, Alibaba, AliExpress, Taobao Global, and TikTok, to hold e-commerce conferences to help Chinese firms penetrate overseas markets.
