    2025-02-25  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THE 34th International Table Tennis Federation-Asian Table Tennis Union Asian Cup (ITTF-ATTU Asian Cup) concluded in Shenzhen on Sunday, with China’s national team claiming all the medals.

In the women’s singles final, world’s No. 2 player Wang Manyu triumphed over top-ranked Sun Yingsha, securing a dominant 4-0 victory. This marked Wang’s first Asian Cup title, continuing China’s streak of six consecutive women’s singles championships. Earlier, Kuai Man defeated Chen Xingtong 4-0 to claim third place, completing a clean sweep for China.

In the men’s singles, Wang Chuqin also delivered a commanding 4-0 win against Liang Jingkun, claiming his first Asian Cup title. Liang took second place, while Lin Shidong secured third after a 4-0 win over Chinese Taipei’s Lin Yun-Ju.

The four finalists earned spots in the 2023 World Cup, set for April in Macao.
