Central Park’s A section opens with new facilities
    2025-03-12  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THE A section of Shenzhen Central Park in Futian District, bordered by Futian River to the east, Huanggang Road to the west, and Binhe Boulevard to the south, has reopened to the public after renovation.

One of the highlights of the section is the newly opened Jihe (or geometric) playground. Spanning nearly 2,000 square meters, the playground is relatively compact but is free to access. With its striking geometric lines and vibrant, dopamine-inducing colors, the space exudes an artistic vibe.

The most popular facility at the playground is the staggered double slide. The slide, designed with geometric patterns, is not very long, making it more suitable for younger children.

The playground also includes swings and seesaws that create melodic sounds when in use, adding a playful touch to the space. Additionally, the small sandpit, located at the corner of the playground, is also a popular place for kids.

The newly opened park area also added some leisure spots such as a hedge maze, a fitness square, and a sculpture garden, making it an ideal place to spend a leisurely weekend. The sports area, composed of a football field and table tennis courts, offers ample space for activities. The park also features large grassy areas, perfect for outdoor camping.

Opening hours: 6 a.m.- 11 p.m.

Metro: Line 11 to Fuxing Station, Exit A; or Line 1 or 10 to Gangxia Station, Exit G  (Wang Jingli)
