ON Feb. 7, the groundbreaking ceremony for the first phase of the Jiuwei International Headquarters Area was held in Bao’an District. This marks a critical step for the project, from planning to implementation, Bao’an Daily reported.

The Jiuwei area is only 5 kilometers from the Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport. Positioned as an international headquarters hub, Jiuwei aims to become a gathering place for multinational corporations, a base for international organizations, and a venue for global business activities.

The Jiuwei International Headquarters Area spans 9 square kilometers. The total planned construction area exceeds 1.3 million square meters. The first phase, covering 250,000 square meters, will serve as a comprehensive service-oriented functional zone that supports the overall development of the area.

The construction of the first phase will be carried out in three stages. The initial stage, which includes a main building and lakeside commercial facilities, is set to be completed and operational in the first half of this year.

The second stage, featuring a high-end branded hotel, is scheduled to open by the end of 2025. The third stage, which focuses on corporate offices and public services, is expected to be completed by the end of next year.
