Runners compete during the 2025 Shenzhen Airport Fun Run, which was held on the third runway of the Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport in Bao’an District yesterday. A total of 3,000 runners participated in the event, which provided a unique opportunity to “race with airplanes” on the newly constructed runway. The 3,600-meter-long and 45-meter-wide runway, whose main construction was completed last year, is set to be officially commissioned this year.
