FIFTEEN Shenzhen-based companies are set to exhibit over 100 products, from a humanoid robot, AI glasses, and drones to craft gifts, intangible cultural heritage products, and jewelry, at the 2025 Shenzhen (Longhua) – Milan Lifestyle Week.
Held in Milan, Italy, from today to April 14, the lifestyle week will transform the renowned global fashion capital into a stage for the convergence of Eastern innovation and Western style.
The centerpiece of the week is a design show that extends its reach into the realms of technology, culture, and lifestyle, illustrating the limitless possibilities that fashion holds when blended with modern innovation.
Among the highlights is Leju’s full-size humanoid robot Kuavo, China’s first open-source humanoid robot with the HarmonyOS operating system, which can jump and navigate multiple types of terrain. Shenzhen Damoda Intelligent Control Technology Co. Ltd., a leading global supplier of drone show performances, will also showcase its cutting-edge drones.
Meanwhile, the show will also feature Auratic’s tableware, Chow Tai Seng’s gold jewelry, and fashion brand Eachway’s latest fashion series, all of which exemplify the seamless blend of Eastern aesthetics with contemporary design.
The rich tapestry of Eastern culture is further highlighted by the inclusion of intangible cultural heritage crafts such as Guanlan printmaking from Shenzhen’s Longhua District and Miao embroidery from Anshun, Guizhou Province.
According to the lifestyle week’s organizers, the show will be curated by Giacomo Santucci, former CEO of Gucci, whose vast industry experience and innovative spirit have infused the event with a higher international perspective and top-notch fashion resources.
Collaborating with artists Stefano Antonelli and Gianluca Marziani, Santucci has formed a core team that is expected to integrate Shenzhen’s innovative genes with Milan’s Renaissance aesthetics.
The show will be held in the historic Ex Chiesa di San Vittore e 40 Martiri, an 11th-century Romanesque architectural gem. Adding to the significance of the event, the 2025 Shenzhen (Longhua) – Milan Lifestyle Week will run concurrently with the prestigious Milan Design Week and has been included in its official schedule for the first time. |
