DJI released its new portable power station last week — the DJI Power 1000 V2. With a capacity of 1024 Wh and a maximum stable output power of 2600 watts, the power station can rapidly charge DJI drone batteries, enabling drones to take off in as little as half an hour. For home backup power and emergency situations, it can connect up to five power packs, expanding the total capacity to 11 kWh. The DJI Power 1000 V2 supports fast charging via electricity mains, solar power, and vehicles, making it suitable for camping, RV travel, and film production. In mains fast-charging mode, the DJI Power 1000 V2 can go from zero to full in just 56 minutes, reaching 80% charge in 37 minutes. It can also be charged using the DJI Power Solar Panel Adapter Module and supports fast charging of up to 1800 watts via the DJI Power 1.8 kW Solar/Car Super Fast Charger, with the fastest time to charge 1 kWh being 40 minutes. The DJI Power 1 kW Super Fast Car Charger and the 1.8 kW Solar/Car Super Fast Charger can harness excess power from a vehicle’s generator to charge the DJI Power 1000 V2, creating an energy storage and power supply system suitable for both cars and RVs. The DJI Power 1000 V2 is equipped with two 140-watt USB-C output ports, delivering a combined power output of 280 watts — significantly higher than ordinary dual 100-watt USB-C outputs. It supports PD 3.1 charging standards at 140 watts for fast charging of high-performance laptops. Its stable lithium iron phosphate battery cells retain 80% of capacity after 4,000 cycles — enough to support daily charging and discharging for up to 10 years. (SD News) |
