ON April 16, a 27-member delegation from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) visited Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) as part of an international academic exchange aimed at fostering deeper cooperation and mutual understanding between the two institutions.

The delegation, led by FHNW professors Michael Jeive, Evelyn Kopec, and Irene Büller, included undergraduate students from five countries. During their visit, they were warmly received by faculty representatives from SZTU’s International Cooperation and Exchanges Department, College of Big Data and Internet, School of Design and Innovation, and School of Foreign Languages.

As part of the exchange, the visitors toured several of SZTU’s key facilitie, exchanged views with faculty and student representatives from several SZTU colleges and visited the Shenzhen-based medical technology company EDAN, where they explored cutting-edge developments in areas such as ECG diagnostics, ultrasound imaging, patient monitoring, smart healthcare, and maternal and child health.

The exchange was organized under China’s “Young Envoys Scholarship” (YES) program.
