THE Bao’an District Commerce Bureau organized the attendance of nearly 400 enterprises at two major international trade fairs — the 21st HKTDC Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition) and the April 2025 Global Sources Hong Kong Show — to help local businesses expand overseas.

During the exhibitions, the bureau organized an event that facilitated matchmaking for 62 companies. It is estimated that 660 potential deals worth 330 million yuan (US$45.14 million) were reached during the event.

At HKTDC, Bao’an-based company Antop, making its debut appearance at the fair, captured attention with its “scientific pet hair removal + odor elimination + interactive pet tech” solutions that target the booming multi-billion-dollar pet economy.

Antop’s flagship smart air purifier addresses key pain points for pet owners, effectively eliminating airborne fur and achieving a pet odor deodorization rate of 95%. A company representative stated, “We have high expectations for this exhibition and aim to connect with global buyers, secure orders, and establish long-term partnerships to strengthen our international presence.”

Held every April and October at the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong, the April 2025 Global Sources Hong Kong Show featured three specialized phases, the first of which was projected to attract more than 60,000 international B2B buyers. Over 2,000 premium suppliers from Asia showcased over 100,000 cutting-edge products.
