Fisheries expo returns with giant tuna, delicacies & family fun
    2025-05-16  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

IF you’re a seafood enthusiast or just looking for something out of the ordinary to do this weekend, the 2025 Shenzhen International Fisheries & Seafood Expo might be your perfect catch.

Running through Saturday at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian, the annual expo is free to attend and packed with reasons to stop by — whether you’re there to sample rare delicacies, take the kids on an educational outing, or simply marvel at a 450-kilogram bluefin tuna being sliced into sashimi.

More than 12,000 high-end aquatic products from 20 countries and regions are being showcased over the three-day event. You’ll find everything from New Zealand rock lobsters and South African abalone to Peruvian squid, Argentine cuttlefish, Malaysian black tiger prawns, and South American white shrimp.

Time: Now through Saturday

Venue: Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center, Futian District

Metro:  Line 1 or 4 to Convention & Exhibition Center Station (会展中心站), Exit D (Cynthia Song)
