During the opening ceremony held yesterday afternoon, Artron signed strategic cooperation agreements with multiple companies, including Japan’s Tsutaya Bookstore. Themed “Intellifuture: Art in Perpetual Pulse,” the subvenue is set to offer five-day exhibitions starting Thursday, the opening day of the 21st ICIF. The Artron subvenue demonstrated its commitment to art preservation through initiatives like the Artist Digital Documentation System and the High-precision Matrix 3D Reconstruction System. The Artist Digital Documentation System securely stores and manages artists’ works, publications, exhibition activities, and other related materials, ensuring their artistic legacy is preserved for future generations. The High-precision Matrix 3D Reconstruction System, developed in collaboration with Canon China and Super Dimension (Jiaxing) InfoTech Ltd., allows for the efficient, high-quality digitalization of cultural relics, extending their lifespan and enabling wider access through virtual exhibitions and research. The subvenue also highlighted its dedication to innovative art education and cultural dissemination. The Art Number Box offers a digital cultural education application featuring art history, artists, artworks, digital exhibitions, and museum knowledge. The Innovative Immersive Art Experience Areas showcases cutting-edge projects like “Dream of the Red Chamber VR,” allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the classic novel’s world, and “Dream of the Red Chamber Generative Particle System,” which transforms characters into interactive particle flows to create an interactive, dynamic art installation. Additionally, the subvenue featured major exhibitions like the Hong Kong Print Awards Exhibition, the Printing Power Design Exhibition (in collaboration with magazine BranD), a photography book exhibition of photographer Wang Zhengping, and an African contemporary art exhibition. The African contemporary art exhibition, ARAK Collection’s debut in China, brings together works from 13 countries. Through paintings and art installations, the exhibition opens an in-depth dialogue on African contemporary art focused on the dimensions of identity, society, and the future. With eight exhibition halls covering an exhibition area of 160,000 sqm, the 21st ICIF will open today at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center in Bao’an District.
