Yang Wei (left), a retiree from Shenzhen, attends a welcome ceremony hosted by officials and residents of Lombok, an island in Indonesia. Yang and his wife Zheng Hong, who are currently on a three-year global sailing voyage, arrived at the island Friday. The couple departed from Shenzhen earlier this year on a sailboat named “Danyun,” with plans to visit 44 coastal cities among the more than 90 cities that have friendship connections with Shenzhen.
