    2025-06-06  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A visitor snaps a photo of the mechanical lion, crafted according to Leonardo da Vinci’s manuscript, on display at the Natural History Museum of China in Beijing on Thursday. A special exhibition, co-curated by Italy’s Da Vinci Academy, the museum, and a Guangzhou-based company, showcases an original piece by the artist, six sets of ancient books, digitally restored artifacts, and 23 exhibits based on Da Vinci’s manuscripts. The exhibition will run until Oct. 20.
