New Zealand trials visa waiver for Chinese visitors from Australia
    2025-06-16  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

New Zealand announced a visa waiver policy yesterday for Chinese citizens traveling from Australia. Starting from November, New Zealand will offer a visa waiver trial for Chinese passport holders who are traveling from Australia with a valid Australian visitor, work, student, or family visa. These travelers will be able to visit New Zealand for up to three months using a New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA) instead of applying for a full visa. This policy does not apply to people merely transiting through Australia, and applicants will still need to meet the criteria for an NZeTA
