    2025-06-17  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

China’s Pan Yufei, a native of Guangzhou, competes in the men’s Boulder final at the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) World Cup in Bern, Switzerland, on Sunday local time. The 25-year-old became the first Chinese athlete to win a Boulder World Cup medal, defeating France’s Mejdi Schalck by 0.1 points. Pan finished 12th at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, but did not qualify for the final of the men’s combined event, which included both Boulder and Lead climbing.Xinhua
