The event was part of the 2025 Future Close-up program, which concluded yesterday at Tencent’s global headquarters in Binhai Building, Nanshan District, Shenzhen. The weeklong program, which brought together 16 young key opinion leaders (KOLs) representing 14 countries and regions, gave participants a chance to visit high-tech companies in GBA cities such as Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Macao, Guangzhou, and Dongguan. At yesterday’s City Innovation Demo Day event, participants formed groups to brainstorm innovative ideas for projects aimed at improving cities’ urban development and boosting their global reach, inspired by their experiences throughout the week.
